Summer
So, yesterday was the first day of summer. I can’t believe summer is here already. It’s June, soon it will be July. The year is going by fast and I just wish it would slow down just a bit.
But now that it’s summer, I’ll probably be going more places.I know next month I will be going to Gettysburg. But over the summer I’d also like to go to Lake Tobias, Hershey Park and Knoebels. Not sure where else I’ll be going, but those three are probably places I’ll go.I would also like to visit Saint Katharine Drexel’s shrine. She’s Pennsylvania’s only Saint and I would really like to visit her shrine.Do you have any summer plans?

I agree…..June is going by way too fast! Sounds like you have some fun places to visit. We are going to Amelia Island (near Jacksonville, Fl) next week for a long weekend. And I am sure a few beach days will be in the plans for the summer.
Oh, I haven’t been to Knoebels in years. Like since grade school. I’d love to go again. I love that log flume ride lol
Well, I just got back from a pre-planned trip out to Utah to visit my brother and his family. Since my kids couldn’t go with me when I went this past Feb, due to my fathers death, I made plans to go back again with my children. It was fun and exciting. Husband and I are trying to plan a vacation sometime around the end of Aug. We’re thinking of going to Folly Beach, but nothing is set in stone yet. Do hope you enjoy your summer.

June IS flying by too quickly!
I’ve been enjoying some day-trips close to home, some antique and thrift shop browsing, gardening, movies, etc., so far this summer.
I have some family and friends coming to visit in July and August. And I hope to take some time to get away for a road trip…sometime in August. Will see how things go.
